Fitness

The group fitness is designed to provide you with energizing cardiovascular workouts, effective resistance training routines and a balance of invigorating classes.  Classes are designed to be fun and innovative and can include everything from light-to-moderate cardio, strength training and Pilates to relay races, fitness games, Zumba and beach walks.  You will be introduced to take-home routines that will have you reaching new levels in your fitness.

 

Total Health Immersion – Why You Are Here

This opening presentation, designed to “kick off” the week, will go over the current state of health in America.  It will cover some of the reasons for the healthcare crisis, the effects the crisis has on us both individually and collectively and presents a path for “breaking away” from the devastating chronic disease trends. 

 

Finding Your Why and Freedom

There are many factors that negatively affect health.  Stress and emotions may not be the first factors that come to mind but they can be very large contributors to poor health.  This session will address effective techniques to dealing with stress and emotions.  But more importantly it will help you find your “why”, the personal and deep-rooted reason that better health is important to you.

 

What is Food?

What Is Food sounds like a question that has an easy answer.  But in today’s world, food and “food like substances” can be hard to tell apart.  This presentation will give you the basics of food, including an explanation of macro and micro nutrients, and show you why it is important to eat nutrient-dense foods.  It shows how the proper foods can help you lose weight and keep it off and even prevent and in some cases overcome chronic disease.  It’s time to start living to the fullest and enjoy a disease-free and long life!

 

Conquer Food Addictions, Hunger & Cravings

Let’s face it – we are addicted to food!  This presentation will teach you what toxic hunger is and the role it plays in food addiction and weight issues. You will learn why diets fail and how eating high nutrient food eliminates toxic hunger and leads to the sensation of true hunger and maintenance of a healthy weight. You will learn how to leave behind the discomfort of toxic hunger and how to finally break cravings and addictions to unhealthy foods.

Dr. Corey Howard takes you on a journey through your digestive system to understand the amazing process that turn your food into – YOU!

Enjoy as chef Chad Sarno, teaches you the basics of a plant-based cooking program that is sure to change lives across the country.  He will show you how to incorporate and prepare the healthiest foods – vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, beans and seeds – that your body needs. He shows you the fundamentals and demonstrates the techniques and principles behind preparing nutrient-dense, plant-based, whole foods.

When it comes to health, there are many crucial differences between men and women.  Neither the male or female body can be balanced piece by piece but instead needs to be looked at in its entirety.  Nutritional-based remedies and small and simple lifestyle and environmental changes can play a major role in preventative care and this presentation will walk you through some options.  We will break up the group by gender so that we can address the men and women specifically.
